After setting up your desired keybindings, you must save the lens to prevent your settings being lost. Our new JSC-1 interface lets you use Contour shuttle controllers wirelessly inside the brilliant #LumaFusion iOS video editorĪvailable for pre-order in July /LuigtFjvtm- CDA-TEK May 3, 2019 The previous post identifying lens settings as a hindrance to storing settings is absolutely on point. Using the Global menu has resolved this problem. I've found that occasionally when using the Sonar settings, the ShuttlePro doesn't respond with consistency. Since I only use the ShuttlePro for Sonar, I've programmed it using the Global settings, not the Sonar ones. The wealth of buttons on the ShuttlePro gives you many options for triggering keybindings. Other buttons center the now time in the screen and perform a reset (this is necessary in case of stuck MIDI notes). I've programmed the buttons to activate the transport in addition to jumping forward or back to markers and jump forward or back one measure. My gigs frequently employ Sonar to play files and the ShuttlePro enables me to have great control over the playback. I've been using a ShuttlePro for many years and wouldn't be without it. (Maybe these are all possible settings?). Any more tips on using it? One of my initial reasons for it, I wanted to at least have buttons for transport control functions, mostly separate buttons for stop/rwd and pause/continue, rather than one or the other space bar, or ctrl or shift spacebar function, dependant on preference setting, but never seemed to get programmed properly I would have also liked to be to be able to set a button to switch jog wheel function between move along timeline and zoom timeline in/out. I hadn't really heard of anyone using this, I have one also and Thanks for that tip maybe Ill have to revisit it. I also had issues to retain settings and/or not too savvy and/or impatient setting it up, and more or less abandoned it, but I still use the jog wheel occasionally to move cursor in time line, seems to retain that function, and still have it listed in the ACT preferences. Klaus BTW, I too use a Contour Shuttle Pro 2 for several years now and would buy it again in a second.
